I've been so excited, all morning, to post the winner of my first giveaway ever!

But first I had to learn how to get the random number.

After I figured out that my winner was the 30th comment I had to go count the comments.  Thank goodness it wasn't #67 or something like that huh? 

Every time I counted I got a different comment thanks to the 3 year old helping me count... there has to be an easier way to do this!

Flying Solo

If you've been waiting all day for my Spring Fling post, I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting!  

This weekend was crazy busy!  My hard working husband is building a 6ft privacy fence on our huge 1 acre corner lot and coaching baseball and trying to prepare himself for working the night shift at work next month.  For me this means, I'm sort of doing the whole parenting thing solo for a bit.

Cooking dinner while cleaning up another potty accident and breaking up fights over the Wii,  tucking babies into bed while begging toddlers to get out of the bath and yelling "I'm not going to tell you again to get your pj's on!" for the 3rd time... it's all so much easier with another set of hands.

Next week he'll start the night shift and our sleep schedules will get all out of whack until somewhere between week 3 & 4 and then it'll be time to change back to the day shift again... cRaZy!!!  He seriously needs to find a more family friendly job!  Is there such a thing?

Did ya miss me?

I'm back from my Almost Disneyland trip to Dallas!

We had a blast!  We got to stay in fancy hotel with the most amazingly luxurious bed linens and a super cool pool that was half indoors and half out.  The kids could swim through a little canal to go back and forth!

One night we went to the Magic Time Machine where Mr. Incredible was our waiter and the kids ran around the restaurant getting autographs from Captain Jack Sparrow, Mario and even Where's Waldo.  It was so much fun but even after our $50 restaurant.com gift certificate it was well over $100!  Ouch!

We spent a couple of days at Six Flags and splurged a bit by letting the kids play some games... they never get to do this so it was a pretty big deal to them!

The best part of the trip (to me anyway!) was when my husband and I were able to sneak out of our room and run down to the bar for a couple of drinks, music, adult conversation and a giant plate of greasy nachos.  

Oh and I got carded!  Ha!  

It must have been the lack of the 5 kids that I usually have hanging on me because I honestly don't remember the last time someone asked for my ID!

But we're home now and I've got a ton of laundry and emails to get caught up on so I'm off but don't forget that today the Spring Fling kicks off! So get over there and enter those giveaways!  Seriously!  Did you see this stuff...
